Kohima, October 31 — The Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) organized a farewell ceremony at the NPWD conference hall to honor two distinguished officers – Er. P. I. Imna Ao, the Engineer-in-Chief and Er. Hozheto Shikhu, the Chief Engineer of Housing., in recognition of their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the department.
The programme was attended by heads of NPWD departments, senior officers, staff members of NPWD and representatives of P. Bashangmongba Chang, Minister for PWD (Housing and Mechanical Engineering), and G. Kaito Aye, Minister of PWD (R&B).
The ceremony was chaired by Executive Engineer Er. Imnameren Imchen, with an invocation by Tiameina Sangtam. A special musical presentation titled “Goodness of God” was performed by staff from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Housing).
Speeches were delivered by Chief Architect Ar. V. Neilazo Metha, Chief Engineer (PEP) Er. K. Imnajungba Jamir, Er. Fineson Pojar, Superintending Engineer (PEP), Er. T. Nungsangtemjen, Superintending Engineer (Housing), and Registrar Kroneicho Naki.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Superintending Engineer Er. C. Hendo Sumao, expressing gratitude to all participants and honouring the outgoing officers.
